The Porch is Hiring an Assistant General Manager

The Porch is looking for a highly motivated, customer service oriented Assistant General Manager. The Porch currently has four locations - Phoenix/Arcadia, Tempe, Downtown Gilbert, and soon to open Porch Flagstaff. Our Porch Arcadia location is looking for a self starter who loves to build a clientele, visit with regulars, foster team camaraderie, effectively use Porch systems, and who takes pride in their job. We are looking for a management team member to help us continue to provide delicious food, amazing cocktails, awesome place to watch sports, and unforgettable experiences for our guests and team members. We are a growing company and are looking for team members that want to grow with us! MUST HAVE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE.

About the Role:

• Manage areas of responsibility to achieve high levels of quality outcomes based on guest feedback and online reviews.
• Ensure that all food and products meet our high standards and are prepared and served according to set guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant, practicing a \clean as you go\ approach.
• Responsible for the server schedules
• Develop and train staff members, including new servers and hosts.
• Assist in making employment and termination decisions.
• Attend weekly manager meetings
• Positively impact team member morale.
• Administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any violations of company policies.
• Ensure proper handling of food to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Interface regularly and professionally with guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Oversee music, lighting, entertainment, and games to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Must have front of house restaurant experience
• Prior experience in a similar or supervisory role in the food and beverage industry.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to market conditions and maintain high operational standards.
• Must be able to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We close at midnight.
