What To Expect
As a vital member of the Corporate Development team, this role involves close collaboration with business leaders and cross-functional partners including HR, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Accounting to evaluate opportunities. The team originates, diligences, structures, negotiates, and integrates complementary businesses, technologies, and teams to accelerate growth, expand product offerings, or enter new markets. The Senior Associate will contribute to the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and other projects. Responsibilities span the full spectrum of a deal lifecycle from deal origination through post-close integration, focusing on financial due diligence, valuation modeling, deal structuring, negotiations, and integration activities across the organization. What You'll Do Identify and resolve issues across the deal lifecycle, from pre-sign due diligence to post-close integration of acquired businessesAnalyze financial and operational performance of target companies by reviewing diligence materials and preparing financial models to support transaction evaluation with management teamsParticipate in purchase agreement negotiations, providing insights on working capital, indebtedness, and purchase price adjustmentsCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations, and Legal teams to deliver transaction insightsSupport end-to-end integration efforts by developing detailed plans, coordinating execution, monitoring progress, and escalating risksPrepare communications for senior leaders on deal rationale, valuation, integration strategies, tradeoffs, and financial or operational impacts
What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Finance, related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in investment banking, finance, accounting, advisory, or consulting rolesPrior experience supporting M&A transactions, including financial due diligenceAdvanced financial and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
