We're looking for hands-on, mechanically minded individuals to become Bus Tire Service Technicians - essential players in keeping our city's transit fleet running safely and efficiently. **This position requires a valid driver's license and CDL. Training for CDL will be provided by the Company.** What You'll Do In this role, you'll get hands-on with some of the biggest tires in the business. Your work will directly support public safety and keep the transit buses ready. This position requires you to move, drive, or otherwise operate transit vehicles, as well as perform tire maintenance and service on transit bus vehicles. Flexibility and availability to work varying shifts is also required. Pay Range: $24.24 - $44.64 **Responsibilities** + Full service wheel assembly - Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing Bus Tires. + Proper maintenance of tools and equipment to promote efficient operating conditions. + Load and unload tires and related items from onsite vehicles as required. + Keep the work area clean and clear of all debris to ensure a safe work environment. + Attend meetings held by Field Supervisor. + Process all necessary paperwork on time. + Observe all safety rules and procedures associated with the performance of duties. + Use personal protective equipment according to safety regulations and policies. + Any other duties as assigned. **Why You'll Love This Role** + **Direct Impact** - your work helps keep buses safe and millions of riders moving. + **Growth built in** - earn TIA certifications (Levels 2 & 3) and gain experience to advance to higher technician levels. + **Team environment** - work with supportive colleagues who take pride in what they do. **What It Takes** + The environment is very hot during the summer months and cold during winter. + Exposure to various chemicals used in cleaning, lubrication, etc. + Frequent bending, twisting and lifting over 50 pounds regularly. + 100+ pounds of pressure when pushing tires. + Repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, vibrations. **Path to Progression** Full TIA Certification Pathway Provided: Gain recognized credentials paid for by us.
