Job Description

Job Title: Event Planner

Hourly Pay: $25 - $40/hour

Summary:

We are looking for a creative Event Planner to help clients organize and execute exceptional events. As an Event Planner, you will work closely with clients to design and implement their vision, ensuring every detail is perfect. If you have a knack for creativity, strong organizational skills, and enjoy working with diverse clients, this is the role for you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand their event goals, preferences, and budget
  • Create detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure a seamless execution
  • Research, negotiate, and secure venues, vendors, and suppliers
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including catering, transportation, décor, and entertainment
  • Supervise on-site event setup and breakdown to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure the event stays within financial constraints
  • Manage event timelines and adjust plans as necessary to address unforeseen issues
  • Provide clients with post-event reports and gather feedback to ensure satisfaction
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to enhance event planning services

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary
