University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Humanities and Social Sciences Political Science and Philosophy The Department of Political Science and Philosophy prepares students for a variety of careers and develops analytical reading, thinking, writing and argumentation skills. Job Description The Department of Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking qualified candidates for an adjunct instructor position. The intent of this announcement is to identify adjunct instructors who are qualified to deliver undergraduate courses in Political Science or Philosophy. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible unranked non tenure track position. Days and Hours will vary depending on the opportunity. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment. Qualifications Adjunct instructors should have a minimum of a master’s degree in Political Science or Philosophy, or advanced degree in an area related to Political Science or Philosophy.
