Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate, self-directed, and organized individuals to assist students in the educational or Preschool setting. 

Position Summary: As a Paraprofessional/PCA in a school setting or early intervention, you provide essential support to teachers and students, assisting with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision. Working under the direction of certified teachers and administrators, you play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success.

Responsibilities:

• Working with students that have special needs and/or challenging behaviors
• Supporting instruction to students
• Monitoring and managing student behaviors
• Modeling and encouraging positive social skills
• Supporting students through classroom transitions

Qualifications:

• Up-to-date Clearances.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Reliable Transportation 
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is preferred
• Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or childcare setting
