Job Description

Project and Office Coordinator (FRENCH) Location New York, NY (Upper West Side area) :

Entry level position or OPT Candidates

For more than 35 years, the company has been providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to international clients throughout the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

We have experienced significant growth and are seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator to work with our dynamic and friendly CPA firm located in Manhattan.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must be enrolled in or have completed a business or accounting degree
  • Must be responsible and proactive, demonstrate attention to detail, and show initiative in basic problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have experience with MS Excel, other MS office programs and one accounting software
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
  • Candidate will also do entry level bookkeeping tasks, so QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • French language: very helpful but not mandatory

Essential Job Tasks

Administrative Tasks:

Financial Management:

  • Taking checks to the bank or depositing them remotely
  • Handling orders and credit card payments for client's customers.
  • Entering bank transactions in QuickBooks and preparing bank reconciliations by importingand/or manually
  • Entering account receivable and payable in accounting software
  • Input data into company ERP system
  • Handle carrier orders (Messenger, UPS, USPS, FedEx) and tracking
  • Retrieve mail from various P.O. boxes and process (sorting, scanning, filing)
  • Answering phones, welcoming clients
  • Manage office supplies, book conference rooms, keep office tidy
  • Help with proposal writing and contract management

Project Management & Communication:

  • Handle company formations, registrations in other states, and EIN requests, etc.
  • Communicate with Banks: open corporate bank accounts and help clients with bank verification processes
  • Monitor and report on the status of corporate projects, communicate effectively and work with partners to make sure tasks are completed successfully and on time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
