Overview:
Seeking a QA Tester to lead automation strategy for web, mobile, and API testing of retail applications. The role will focus on Shift-Left Testing, embedding QA early in the development lifecycle, and maintaining robust automation frameworks in a dynamic retail environment.
Position:
Full-time, W2, Remote (Local to Cincinnati, OH preferred), US Citizens only
Responsibilities:
Lead automation strategy for web, mobile, and API retail applications
Drive Shift-Left Testing and embed QA practices early in the development cycle
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
Execute and document test cases based on requirements
Identify, log, and track bugs/issues
Collaborate with developers to validate features
Conduct regression testing for system stability
Participate in planning and reviewing test cases
Requirement Qualifications:
Proficiency in Selenium, Playwright, Karate Framework
Hands-on with Java, JavaScript, Python
Experience with Git, Jenkins, and test management tools
Strong understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks
Experience testing Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
Excellent communication and documentation skills
