Quality & Food Safety Compliance Supervisor
Location: City of Industry, CA (Relocation Available)
Compensation: $90K–$115K base + 18% bonus + excellent benefits
Reports to: Quality & Compliance Manager

This global Fortune 500 beverage manufacturer operates one of the most advanced fluid dairy plants in Southern California. The company is committed to top-tier food safety and regulatory standards, and is looking for a Quality & Food Safety Compliance Supervisor to lead and enhance its compliance and certification programs at scale.

The Opportunity
This is a critical leadership role on the site quality team, focused on maintaining regulatory readiness, driving certification excellence, and mentoring a sizable compliance team in a 24/7, high-volume environment. You'll serve as a key player in site-wide quality initiatives and cross-functional programs.

What You’ll Do
Compliance & Certification Management

• Lead food safety and regulatory compliance programs across the site

• Ensure readiness and lead execution for all third-party and government audits (LACF, CDFA, Kosher, Non-GMO, QAI, etc.)

• Maintain certification for FSSC22000, SQF, and other quality programs

• Act as site SME and Food Safety Team leader for FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and related standards

Team Leadership

• Supervise 3 direct reports and oversee a broader lab team of 23 quality staff

• Develop training programs on compliance, document control, and food safety principles

• Drive team engagement and continuous improvement initiatives

Systems & Process Oversight

• Oversee traceability, pest control, sanitation, organic and non-GMO compliance programs

• Conduct root cause analyses and manage CAPA programs

• Ensure accurate calibration, documentation, and data management in line with FSMA and LACF requirements

• Support rollout of IWS Quality Pillar and contribute to annual Management Review processes

You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or related discipline

• 3–5 years in food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing with QA or FS compliance focus

• Certification or experience with PCQI, FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and food quality systems

• Preferred: SQF Practitioner or FSSC22000 Certification

• Experience in high-volume and/or unionized manufacturing is a plus

• Strong communication skills and a track record of stable employment
