Job Title: Forklift Driver – Stand-Up Forklift

Location: Sterling Heights, MI 48314

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Monday–Friday)

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a reliable and safety-minded Forklift Operator for a contract position in Sterling Heights. This role requires operating a stand-up forklift to move, load, and unload materials efficiently. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers and transport items to assigned locations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks when needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Certification: Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physical Requirements: Must wear steel-toe boots.
• Screening: Must pass a national background check and drug test.
• Independence: Must be able to work independently and stay on task.
