Hiring immediately in Athens, PA!

Position: Stormwater Equipment Operator.

Location: Shop located in Athens, PA.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications (Full-Time).

85% travel is typical for this position. We offer travel reimbursements and $68 per diem!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and construction on vital stormwater infrastructure, underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins throughout the Northeast states.
  • Utilize hand-held tools, power tools, and heavy construction equipment, including skid loaders, excavators, and dozers.
  • Take advantage of travel opportunities during the week, exploring various locations while making a significant impact.
  • Learn and develop pioneering construction and regulatory compliance techniques.
  • Document field observations to contribute to project success and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the highest safety standards on every project, protecting yourself and your team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: GED, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in construction.
  • Expertise: Experience with the repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins is a plus.
  • Travel: Willing to travel Monday through Friday, with 85% travel expected.
  • Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Skills: Competent in operating construction equipment, power tools, and concrete hand tools. Basic understanding of plans and specs, and knowledge of stormwater, sediment, and erosion control.
  • Safety and Compliance: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and familiarity with DOT requirements for pickups and equipment trailers.
