Job Title: Structural Engineer - Entry Level

Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team and support the design and delivery of structural projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in structural engineering and project coordination. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers on a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and precast concrete components.
+ Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications under supervision.
+ Support project managers with coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
+ Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
+ Participate in site visits and inspections to observe construction and gather data.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
+ Engineer Intern (EI) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
+ 0-4 years of structural engineering experience (internship experience counts).
+ Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD).
+ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
+ Knowledge of precast concrete design and manufacturing processes.
+ Exposure to construction methods and materials.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
